This band is going places. Originators of the 'One World Mission', a movement dedicated to world understanding and unity this band performs on a level that truly cannot be ignored. Voices of Ujima brings together several renowned artists. Ras Joseph the 'lyrical cultivator' who's vocals lead the line like a shining star, Gibbs - also known as 'No 10' has a established himself within the reggae ranks as a top class peformer, Muenda Silko-Kenyatta a.k.a Bandyt has also made a name for himself touring in his band of the same name in the 90's before managing the very successful jazz funk group 2nd Naicha. He claims to have found his spiritual home in the Voices Of Ujima. Clearly - the standard is high but one could argue that the best is yet to come. Its hard to see how though with such embracing and captivating songs as 'Freedom Song' 'Ina Di Red' and 'Gabriel' already a part of the Ujima reportoire.Book this band. You will not regret it.
